Piotr Świst

Born date 20.06.1968. During 14 years he rode for Gorzów but since 1998 he is Van Pur rider. He's got a silver medal in Europan Championship U-21 from 1987, two medals in Polish Championship (silver from 1995 and bronze from 1993), two silver medals in DMP (Polish League Championship) from 1992 and 1997. He also has three titles of Polish Championship U-21 (1987, 1988, 1989). Suming up he got 22 medals in many Polish finals. In the world he was known (except to medal from 1987) from Individual Championship (1994) and Pair Championship (1988, 1989, 1991, 1993), but he didn't played the main roles there. He used to have very dangerous injury in 1990 when he had a fal in Wiener Neustadt and had to pause for over 6 months.

Janusz Stachyra

Born date 01.07.1960. He started his career in Lublin but he was injured there and didn't have too many starts. His real speedway adventure started in 1981 when he went to Rzeszów where he started in years 1981-1993. Then left Rzeszów to ride for Częstochowa in years 1994-1996 and he's in Rzeszów again since 1997. He's got a gold medal in DMP (1996), DPP (Polish Team Cup) (1994), silver medals in MPPK (Polish Championship in pair riding) (1989,1990). He's had many starts in IMP (Polish Individual Championship) but didn't get any medal although he was fourth twice (1988, 1989). He was in Continental Final in 1987 and if he had had one point more he would have been in World Championship.

Maciej Kuciapa

Born date 23.11.1975. Since the start of the career (1992) he rides in Rzeszów. Although he is young has some successes in speedway. He has two gold (1994, 1995) and one silver (1996) medal In Polish team championship U-21. He was in Polish individual championship (1997) and Polish individual championship U-21 (1994, in reserve in 1996), but didn't made good results there. He took part in many eliminations and meetings U-21 where he had all sort of results.

Grzegorz Rempała

Born date 27.05.1974. His first speedways steps were in Tarnów in 1990. In 1992 he rode for Victoria-Rolnicki Machowa but next year he came back to Tarnów. Since 1996 he rides for Van Pur Rzeszów. He's got a lot of successes but in championship U-21 overall. He's got a gold medal in Polish team championship U-21 (1993), gold (1994) and silver (1993) medal in Polish individual championship U-21, medals in Polish pair riding U-21, and silver medal in DMP from 1994. In Rzeszów he didn't have too many successes - he was in Polish individual final (1996, 1997), Polish pair riding final (1997), but didn't get any medal there.

Rafał Trojanowski

Born date 12.07.1976. Since 1992 when his career started he's connected with Rzeszów although he was purpose of many Polish teams. His first success took place in 1994 when he got gold medal in Polish Team Championship U-21. It was repeated in 1995 and a year later he got silver medal in the same category. He always was one of the best riders in his U-21 team. His last success took place in 1997 when he got bronze medal in Polish Pair Riding Championship U-21. He also was in final of Polish Individual Championship U-21 (1995, 1996), but didn't get any medal then.

Piotr Winiarz

Born date 2.07.1976. He started his career in 1992. He belongs to the same generation that Kuciapa, Trojanowski and Wilk (actually rides for Start Gniezno) belong. He is that one those riders who had the biggest successes. He got two gold (1994, 1995) and one silver (1996) medal in Polish Team Championship U-21, he also has one silver (1993) and one bronze (1997) medal in Polish Pair Riding Championship U-21. Nevertheless his biggest success was silver medal in Polish Individual Championship U-21. He also took part in Individual World Chapmionship and Individual World Chapmionship U-21 (1995) but he had an injury and couldn't ride for a long time then.

Tomasz Rempała

Born date 15.07.1978. He is in speedway since 1994 and seems to have big talent to this sport. He came to Rzeszów (from Tarnów where he had been riding so far) in 1998. Unfortunatelly his talent was stopped because of injury in 1997. He was in Individual World Championship U-21 that bad-lucky year but couldn't start of course. His biggest success took place in 1994 when he got silver medal in Polish League Chamiponship (his team Unia Tarnów took second place then). He took place in many eliminations and finals in Poland but didn't have bigger successes then.

Andrzej Rybka

Born date 19.04.1980. He started his career in 1996. He hasn't had big successes so far - just took part in some eliminations U-21 (pair riding, individual, team).

Maciej Pietraszek

Born date 16.09.1978. His career started in 1996. He's got silver medal in Polish Team Championship U-21 from 1996. He took part in many eliminations U-21.

Waldemar Bednarski

Born date 29.04.1978. He started the career before 2 years but wasn't appreciable on the tracks.

Grzegorz Bednarski

Born in 1980. He started his career this year but he noticed only one start in team eliminations U-21 and got an injury.

Sławomir Czarnik

The youngest of Van Pur riders, born in 1981. He started his career with Grzegorz Bednarski but seems to be much better. He got very good result in team eliminations U-21 and has many good starts in meetings for aged U-21. He's already had league debut in Zielona Góra.

Joe Screen

Born date 27.11.1972. His first speedway steps were in Belle Vue Manchester. His first contact with Poland took place in 1992 when he joined Włókniarz Częstochowa. He moved to Tarnów for one season (1993) and came back to Częstochowa for next four years. He made gold medal with his team in Poland in 1996. He also had successes in the world - gold (1993) and bronze (1992) medals in World Championship U-21. He also took part in Grand Prix 1996 but didn't ave any successes there. He got a wild card for GP Great Britain in 1997 and 1998 but took far positions. He also was in World Championship in Pocking (1993) but was only 13-th.

Antonin Kasper

Born date 5.12.1962. One of the best Czech riders in speedway history. He represented his country in many world championship. His biggest success was bronze medal in 1986 in pairs . He also got medals in Europan Championship U-21 (gold medal in 1982 and bronze in 1981). His contact with Poland started in 1990 when he joined Motor Lublin (rode there for 2 years). Since 1992 he was Start Gniezno rider. In 1997 he joined Rzeszów team and rides here till today. He also had great moments in Poland - silver medal made with Motor Lublin in Polish League (1991) and many victories in friendly competitions.

Van Pur Rzeszów coach - Marek Cieślak.

Born in 1950. As a rider he rode for Włókniarz Częstochowa. His debut took place in 1967. His biggest successes are silver and bronze medals in World Team Championship. He got Golden Helmet in 1976 and silver medal in Polish Individual Championship in 1975. He made gold medal with Włókniarz in 1974, took part in many Polish Individual Championship finals (1970 - 1972, 1975-1976). He rode in British League (1977-1979 rode for White City). One of the best riders in Polish and Częstochowa history. His career had to be finished in 1980 because of many injuries but he is very good coach for example with him as coach Włókniarz Częstochowa got gold medal in league in 1996.
